Handholding for Swachh Survekshan 2022 of North Delhi and East Delhi
ICUC Consultants provided consultancy services to North Delhi Municipal Corporation and East Delhi Municipal Corporation, in supporting, monitoring, and managing Swachh Survekshan 2022 as part of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs’ Swachh Bharat Mission-Urban. ICUC was responsible for data collection, quality documentation (Swachh Survekshan, ODF ++, GFC Star Rating Protocol), gap analysis, recommendations for measures to improve the city’s ranking, maintaining and regularly updating SBM (U) MIS, and developing an IEC and Behaviour Change Communication strategy to raise awareness and increase citizen engagement. As a result, North Delhi improved their ranking from 45 in 2021 to 37 in 2022 and East Delhi from 40 in 2021 to 34 in 2022.
