Study on SWM System in Hindon Basin for Govt. of Netherland
ICUC carried out a study on SWM System for the 43 towns of Saharanpur division, as a part of ‘Waste to Wealth’ programme of Govt. of Netherland, a partnership between public and private actors in The Netherlands and India. The study included situation analysis of existing system including waste survey, gap analysis, design options and recommendations for the implementation of a suitable waste collection & transportation system for the design period of 15 years.The outcome of the study would enable the private agency of Netherlands to design the waste to energy facility optimally, to be developed in Muzaffarnagar. This facility shall be catering to around 1000TPD of waste of 43 ULBs/CTs of three districts of Muzaffarnagar, Shamli& Saharanpur located in Uttar Pradesh.
